So... the past few days I've tried something new... When Anna wakes up, I don't comfort her or nurse her although she asks and guess what? She goes back to sleep on her own. Before bed, I'll nurse her and then she wakes up at around six and I'll nurse her again and through the day she hasn't been asking for milk, either.
I can get used to this. This is a much better schedule. Especially since I'm becoming reacquainted with a precious thing called SLEEP.

Hey, that's great!
Sleep, really? Sounds vaguely familiar. Tell me all about it.
I miss it.
Oh thats awesome!
That is wonderful. My little one will be 8 months on Friday and she still wakes up every 2 - 3 hours to nurse. I long for the day when I can sleep through the night!
Isn't sleep wonderful? Now don't ruin it by staying up all night blogging :)
Sleep? I think I just had to look that up on m-w.com to find the definition. I'm glad you are getting more of it, though. I just wished I could quiet my own head long enough to doze off at a decent hour. (The Boneyard is to blame for that, I'm afraid. ha ha)
Sounds like she is ready to wean, too!
