Mind Reading
This is the way my hubby and I read each other's minds... (A conversation we just had a second ago about the shower head being broken... we have two bathrooms, one for our little daughter, one for us. The shower head in our bathroom is broken.)
(Earlier Paul suggested that I take a shower in Anna's bathroom.)
(Just a minute ago...)
Me: I just realized Anna doesn't even have a shower curtain. Oh, you know what we should do--?
Paul: Oh, I just realized that! Derrr...
Me: I know. It's like the obvious answer!
Paul: I can't believe we didn't think of that in the first place.
(If you don't know what we're talking about, we're talking about taking the shower head out of Anna's bathroom and putting it into ours until we buy a new shower head.)

Flickr Pics
We finally got our card for our new digital camera. I'm happy with it. It's beautiful and the quality is fantastic.
Here's the link to my Flickr account. HERE. Enjoy the new pics of Anna. :D
And thank you all for the comments on my blog. Anna is grabbing underwear after her baths in the morning and taking them to us, wanting to wear them. I think she must be ready. It's great. :)

Poop in the Potty
Today I put Anna back in her underwear (I haven't since before Spring Break) and she went to the potty and wanted to pull down her underwear, then I sat her on the potty and she went POOP! She did everything by herself! I was so shocked! I thought it would take her forever to get back into the groove, but she seems to have a better hold on it than before the break!
Yay for my little pooper! :D

Win A Cruise for 2!
In my previous post, I mentioned a fellow blogger who is adopting a little girl from Eastern Europe. To fund the adoption, she is having a ton of awesome silent auction pieces up for bid...
I don't know how I passed this up, but the big ticket item is a 4 Day 3 Night Cruise for 2. It's not an auction, it's a raffle! 20 bucks will not only help bring Kellsey home, but it could be the cost for a Carnival cruise (to Mexico or the Bahamas) that INCLUDES AIRFARE. Freaking sweet!!!
Check it out here:

A Good Note
I was talking to a young lady who knew my brother and who knows me. Same small town that we grew up in...
She wrote me a note and in that note, was this quote:
"The last time I saw Sean in Georgia, he asked me if I had seen you, and I told him not really.. He told me that he couldn't believe how great a Mom you had become, and how happy it made you. He told me that he couldn't figure out where you learned how to be such a good parent."
It made me tear up knowing that he thought that way of me. I wish he had told me in person. I wish that I wasn't so wrapped up in feeling angry toward him about the way he often treated me or my hubby... he was just lashing out. I should've seen that he was in pain. But there are things that we cannot change. And this is one of them.

Lily-Ann
My niece, Lily-Ann Brooke, is now 8 months old. I haven't seen any recent pictures of her. I wish I could. I'm trying to write them in Georgia and send a picture their way of Anna. I'd so love for the two girls to get to know one another. It's kind of frustrating that J. hasn't written me back yet. I don't know whether it's because she's been busy or if she just simply does not like me. Anyway, I would so love to be able to send pictures her way. And maybe a special letter as well. Something that could be tucked into her baby book that she could read as a young woman.
Perhaps Lily-Ann will do a Google search some day... you know, how you search for your name to see if it's unique?
So, if you're reading this in the future, Lily-Ann, do know that I've thought every day about you. You're a piece of me and I'm a piece of you. I love you. I want to know you, to hug you, to take you shopping with your cousin[s?], to kiss you, to tell you about me and your father Sean Tacy (I know your last name is not Tacy... I was informed that it was Payne when you were born... it may be different now).
You are so loved. I just wish I could tell you in person. Some day. Some day soon, I hope. I will tell you that I love you and that you were and are a prayer answered.

Beloved One
When did you walk away?
And when did you run, run, run?
And where are you going to stay?
Now that you've run, run, run?
Run back to your Sword.
And take up your Word.
Don't let the fear
Drag you to that place.
Wipe away your tears
From your empty face.
Run, run, run into His arms.
And stay, stay, stay in His heart.
You are His Beloved.
Beloved.
Beloved.
Beloved one.
(I wish I could put notes to this song...)

Song Beside A Sippy Cup
I love this poem. Mostly because I've been there and I know how it feels!!!
Song Beside A Sippy Cup
In the never truly ever
truly dark dark night, ever
blinds-zipped, slat-cut,
dark-parked light,
you (late) touch my toes
with your broad flat own
horny-nailed cold toes.
Clock-tock, wake-shock.
In the ever truly never
truly long long night, our
little snoring-snarling
wild-child mild-child
starling-darling wakes every
two, three (you-sleep) hours,
in the never truly ever
truly lawn brawn fawn dawn.

Poem/Song
You are
the one I breathe for every single day
You are
the one I live for in every single way
You are...
the beginning and the end.
You are...
Jehovah Elohim.
The Rock
The Shepherd
King of Kings
You are...
Righteous
King of Peace.
My Healer
Who is waving over me.
Sovereign Lord of Lords,
You are my everything.
Everything.
Everything...

Nursing Update
It's been a while since I've blogged about breastfeeding. Probably because we're only really down to once a day now. She asks at night and so I let her nurse. She's slowly--but surely--weaning herself. I'm not so afraid she'll want to nurse at fourteen any more. :D haha

Where Does She Learn These Things?
It had been a while since I had put Anna's hair into pony tails, so about a few weeks ago when I bought new rubber bands, I put Anna's hair into piggie tails... and I have no idea where she learned this!... but I decided to try to make her just a LEEEEEEETLE bit vain so she would leave the piggie tails in lol. So I told her she looked pretty and asked if she wanted to see herself in the mirror. She said, "Yeah," so I took her into her bathroom, stood her on the counter, and showed her her reflection. You could tell immediately that she thought she was pretty adorable. Then she licked her finger, touched her reflection and made a "Sssssssss" sound... you know, like when people lick their finger, make a sizzling sssssssssss sound and touch their bottom or something? and I have no idea where she learned it, but it's probably the most hilarious, adorable thing in the world! And she does it every time I show her her reflection lol. She is quite the character, let me tell you.
